Kat is an interdisciplinary artist whose work focuses on the electronic waste stream and digital materiality. Through experimental fabrication, computation, video, sound, and narrative installation, Kat's projects transform scavenged materials into hybrid technological forms.
Her research interests include the environmental impacts of digital technologies, email spam, electronic waste, and dog-human friendships.
She received an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and currently resides in Chicago, IL.
